Wow, I was surprised. When I saw the word scrappy I was wondering if the design would be lost but the TATW still can be seen. I did one with stars n stripes, that type of fabric. we cut the fabric into long strips, sewed them together and then cut them into our 2in blocks, so much easier than block by block. great job

I've never made one like this. Sure looks like a lot of work. VERY PRETTY....... GOOD JOB!!

Thank you Sandrea, following Bonnie's instructions it really wasn't much work, pretty fun actually seeing how each block came alive!

That looks very nice! How did you quilt it? Did you mark the quilting pattern first (if so, what did you use) or did you just free motion the design? The quilting looks nice as well.

Hi phranny, thank you - I'm glad you like it, I did free motion quilting on this, so I didn't mark it at all, I've marked some quilts in the past, but really like to find a design I figure I can handle without marking and go for it! ( I do always make up a practice quilt sandwich to try the design on first)
