Looks like a lovely but complex quilt! I can't be much help as I haven't done it. All I can say is break it down into small sections and work on one at a time. Don't let the complexity of the whole overwhelm you. Good luck!

I looked at their ad for it and loved it ~ but when I saw 'challenging' that was it for me!

The individual pieces are fairly easy to do (usually 7 in a block.) But when it comes to
doing the 'y' seam...I simply cannot get all the points together and make them fit right.
(20 points coming together is a mess!)
Thanks for the comments. I'll keep working at it for awhile longer.

Terri, what problems are you having? We need some direction on what areas you are having trouble with. Cutting, piecing, laying flat, etc.

Boy, that's hard to describe. I have done all the individual blocks. Putting the points together and matching the
colors opposite I am finding it Very difficult to make them so that the colors are right.
I think you'd have to actually be doing one to understand these directions.

All the skiney sides of the block go into a point and meet the other side's points. Wish I could describe it
better but I don't know how!
This is the first quilt I've ever been so frustrated with that I want to toss it out.

When we ordered this kit it was listed as being "intermediate". Suddenly...it's "challenging". ROFL
I wouldn't have ordered it either if it had had THAT listing. I agree with you. LOL

It sure is beautiful though. The finished product will make all that effort worthwhile.

IF I do, will let you know. In the meantime, if anyone here tries it, let me know. Perhaps there
is help in numbers working on it. LOL
Have a super day everyone!
