Default It's Your Day wallhanging

Made a wallhanging for our newest granddaughter Nora, who arrived a month early. She weighed 4 lbs 12.5 oz and is 18.3 in. Had almost started this wallhanging but thought I had a few more weeks but just so glad she is now breathing on her own. They are hoping she will only be in the hospital another week. She has to gain some weight and start nursing longer, before she can go home. It was like holding a baby doll, have never seen (in person) a baby that small before.

Congratulations on the new addition to the family. This is the day my brother was born. It's a strong day and soon she will be strong enough to go home. BrendaK

Adorable wall hanging! Congratulations on your new granddaughter. My nephew was born a month early and he was kept in the hospital 2 weeks until his lungs were strong enough to be able to go home. He's been in perfect health ever since and that was 30 years ago.

Very cute quilt. Congrats on your new grandbaby. My 3rd son was 4 lbs 3 oz when he was born - 3 months early due to my having appendicitis. He stayed in the hospital 3 weeks. He is now my biggest son (I have 4) and is 41. They grow so fast. Again, great quilt and I'm sure you will enjoy your granddaughter for many, many years. They are so much fun.

Thanks for the encouragement. She is our 5th grandchild and this was the first time I ever saw a baby hooked up to all the tubes and things, pretty scarey.
