Default Quilted picture frame .. saved some $$!

Had any pictures framed lately? It can sure be expensive. So, I came up with this quilted version -- actually I saw something like this several years ago at our guild's show, in the boutique where we sell small items to generate revenue for the group. So, the idea was not mine, but I had no pattern to go by. Anyway, it came out pretty neat, I think. The picture was a gift from our DIL.

That's really cute, did you photo transfer the picture onto fabric or insert the paper like a photo in a wood frame?

It's a photo, right? Did you make a sleeve to slip it into? It looks very nice, plus it's one more place to display quilting. I like it.

You can make a frame out of anything. Doesn't just have to be metal or wood. Great photo framed beautifully!
