Default paper pieced sunflowers

My show and tell for today...a block from Janeen van Niekerk's "In the Garden" BOM

I think could have done a better job with color placement, but on the whole, I am too lazy to do over and pleased enough to leave as is. This is to be my quilt. Around 106 pieces in this 12-1/2" block. I've been having a lot of fun putting these together.

Awesome sunflower block and I don't see a thing wrong with your color placement. I immediately envisioned pebbles quilted in the brown centers

Feline, hard to tell but the center is purple, and I see pebbles too ;-) I've been practicing!

Tartan, I may have counted a piece more than once, but yeah, definitely around a hundred or so ;-)

thank you! we use to grow sunflowers every year. the kids and the neighbors love them so. So many people would stop by and comment on our giant sunflowers. They have special meaning for me.

Oh I love it! The color placement is so pleasing and dimensional!!! I didn't realize there were so many pieces in this one! I've been saving the patterns from this BOM but haven't started them.....and you know why. Trying to wrap up a few others before starting a new one!
