Default Organ needles vs Schmetz needles

I just noticed how cheaply you can buy Organ needles. Amazon has some sizes for 100 less than $10. Is that correct and are they any good? I just can hardly believe that price for GOOD needles.

I've never heard of Organ needles. I'm gonna have to go visit Amazon!

I love Organ needles. I found them at my Janome dealer and he thinks they are great needles at a great price.

Organ needles are the brand that came with my Juki and they have been great! When it's time for a refill, I will also get the 100 pack.

At that price I might be willing to discard a used needle instead of waiting for it to break or bend before throwing it away!

My janome us a tad fussy and doesn't like organ needles, which is a pain as they are much cheaper than schmetz.

I change my needle before I think it is dull. I don't keep the used ones, I get rid of it as soon as I change it.

That's interesting. when I bought my Janome 6500 a package of Organ needles came with it. And the Janome brand needles I bought for my 7700 (the dealer said use only Janome Brand in it) at my LQS say Organ on them.
