    Default Early for Christmas

I started this blue Santa weeks ago but doing free motion with the metallic threads made me keep putting it back onto the design wall instead of working on it! Our daughter saw it hanging there and declared it would look lovely on her fire place! I finished it tonight other than I have to learn how to add a sleeve on the back for hanging it. Now I have to start a second one for our home for Xmas! It feels good to finish something early for a change. However, I think it's time to make some Spring wall hangings etc.! LOL!

Thanks so much! I bought one panel at Nancy's Fabrics and the other one at a sewing show last year. It was easy of course finding fabrics for the borders locally.

It is beautiful. The blue/white looks so cozy to me. Is this a panel?

Thank you. Yes, it's a panel and I added the borders. I don't usually buy panels but this one looked so soft and unusual.

What a pretty quilt!! I am not one to buy panels either - but if I had seen it - I too would have bought it! Love the way you finished it.
