Default So much fun at the retreat...here is what I did

I finished my quilt top. I cut the pieces during the week and sewed the blocks each night. So at the retreat I sewed the finish blocks together and added on two borders. Then one of the girls taught me how to make this wonderful beach bag. Love it...I used scraps from a left over project. Love it. I will have to make these for gift bags. She also was making another smaller bag/different pattern that I loved and would be a daily purse. I can't wait to make a few of those. It was so much fun...just 4 of us got together which is the perfect amount of folks. We also have a girl come in later in the day and she set up her massage chair and gave us incredible massages..it was awesome and just in time as we were getting sore from sewing all day. Lots of fun, talks and just plain fun. Can't wait for the next get together.

I really love how the bag came out and she was also doing another one that I can't wait to make...I think I may have to take a break from quilting for a few days and make a few...so much fun and wonderful way to use up scraps. Lot of fun and very quick to make.

Wow, I would have gone just for the massage. It looks like you had a productive, restful, fun-filled retreat.
