    Default My latest t-shirt quilt

Just finished up this quilt for a young lady's High School graduation. I wanted to do a 2" border on all four sides of each block, but the quilt was going to end up being way too long. My solution was to make HSTs combining the fabric from one block to the one above or below it. I think I made close to 250 HSTs for this quilt. I'm very happy with the finished product. This cut 12" from the length of the quilt. Final size ended up being about 68" X 84".

I don't pick the shirts. I just turn them in to a quilt. Since this was for high school graduation, she wanted a wide range of things and places that she enjoyed at some point in her life.

Cute quilt! The triangles make the squares look like puzzle pieces how they fit together.

This is one of the best Tshirt quilts I have ever seen. Great job and love the Tshirt collection. They definitely added character to the quilt.
