Default Row by row

Just found about the Row by Row experience yesterday at bom. It sound like it may be fun to do. It's the first time I've heard of this. Will wait until LQS gets their pattern out in July and decide if I will take up the challenge. Went online and saw it was started a few years ago. Has anyone done it?

I also just read about it the other day. I will see if I can find the link.

Be sure to check out the facebook pages also, there are some pretty great rows. Just search row by row and several States come up.

This looks interesting and is reminiscent of an Eleanor Burns quilt I saw years ago. Maybe it's still on her website. her techniques are usually pretty simple and you might get a bit better idea of what goes into this kind of quilt, whether it's horizontal or vertical rows.

I've seen several of the patterns for this year and think they are the best ones yet! This year's theme is Through the Seasons (or something close to that...). With a daughter getting married this summer, both time and money are in short supply, so I am going to have to plan carefully which shops I can get to!

Sounds fun, but there are no participating shops in my state.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I will be traveling and several of my favorite quilt shops along the way are participating.

Does anyone know about the rows? Does the quilt shop choose a row and different quilt shops have different rows or does the same quilt shop have multiple rows you can choose from or do they feature different rows during different time periods. In other words how do you collect all the rows?
