Default Do I Square a block before or after adding sashing

Help, I think I know the answer, but not sure. I am going to add a sashing strip to each block side and bottom (top too on first row). Not sure when to square - before or after adding sashing strips....

Probably both - right.

I square all my blocks before adding sashing. I then add side strips to all the blocks. I generally use on long strip between the rows and on top and bottom.

I square my blocks before sashing and recheck again before sewing together to make sure it all matches up.

I tend to square or check for square whenever I can. It is easier to take the time and have no regrets.

if the blocks need it, I square before adding sashing.

I'm with everyone else--before sashing. I also measure after sashing but usually don't need to cut again.

Before. Otherwise you are just sewing sashing to an inaccurate shape.
