Looking for brand name of muslin?
I started quilting 7 years ago and I think 5 years ago I bought a very nice heavy quality muslin at FabricDepot from a brand from a factory that closed down and discontinued production of muslin. Anyone remember the name of the brand and/or factory that made it?
(FabricDepot made a renewed site some time ago and I can not view my old orders)

Over the years there have been many lines of fabrics come & go... There are many good quality muslins on the market. Muslin is one of those utility fabrics that comes in many weights, weaves, and quality. It can be found as loose and thin as cheese cloth and as heavy, stiff as canvas and everything in between. For quilting a medium weight muslin is usually a good choice. Fabric.com has quite a good selection of muslin fabrics and you can order swatches so you could see/compare the differences

Roc Lon manufactures many different weights, from stuff that looks like cheese cloth to one that you could confuse with canvas. Southern Belle is a very fine tight weave and is available in both natural & bleached.
