I've finally decided on the pattern I'm going to use, but having a problem coming up with colours. My swappee didn't list any favourites, so I am gravitating toward my favourites. I think I'm going to make two in two different colourways and ask my neighbour to choose the one to send.

Terriamn and Rwquilts -- I'm sorry about your losses. It's very difficult when someone we love dies, whether two or four footed.

I've spend an absolutely lovely past three days. Other than being very dry, the weather has been perfect -- cool in the mornings and warming to around 80 in the afternoon. So I have been alternating my time between quilting and gardening, with a smattering of reading in between. It doesn't get much better than this!

Jaba I also have received things from you, and never ever smell smoke. I also am sensitive to it with lupus and sjogren's.

I have finally finished the mug rug top now just to quilt it.I may make another one and send two.
I still have one more item to make for her.
Finally got all my other stuff done so I can concentrate n this one.I do sign my mug rugs with a pigma pen on the backs.
I'm second guessing myself on the first mug rug but I hope she likes it. Hope to mail out by next Tuesday.

I sign my rug mugs, I have those cloth labels for clothing and such, so I just stitch one of those on the backing. Easy peasy!

Well I have swapped with you Jaba many times and everything I have recived has smelled wonderful no smoke. No one in my house smokes and I have no animal hair so my swaps should smell ok . I feel that I can wash whatever I get so smells don't bother me,but I know some people have health issues and cant take the smell. Klaws I did see that post I thought you were not treated very nice,you have your right to say how you feel.but you know how things go.

I think it's fun to see a signature on the back of something I receive and even if I don't sew a label into my "rug", I will sign it with a permanent pigma pen.

Thank you all for your sweet comments and thoughts regards hubby's dad. Everything went really well and he looked wonderful and it was great to see family and give lots of hugs and know that dad can see, hear and walk again.

Terriamn, I am sorry for your loss...pets are family for sure. Hugs!

I am excited to get back to work.
