Default A Thing For Snowman Quilts

I will not quilt another snowman quilt...I will not quilt another snowman quilt...I will not...wait a minute, I found the pattern of Under The Stars and bought it. Guess I will make yet another snowman quilt.

The first I did in 1998. It's my profile picture and the first I've ever made. I've really not completed any since, except small wall sized quilts, but I'm working on the one I started when my dad got sick. Yet, I found Under The Stars, I'm glad I don't have all the fabric for it. I'd start it.

Dang snowmen.

It's so cute. I may have to go to the recycled fabric store and get the fabric for it. Okay, says I, it might not be Moda or Kona...but I want to make this so bad.

On Wear warm clothes I took my grandpa's shirts (he passed away in 1995), and used some of his shirts for it...but you'd think I'd know it's not as expensive as I make it.

Yep, that's cute!! I am still thinking of the one in keepsakequilting catalog. I could do it without a pattern. Just rectangles of different prints and a large snowman on one side.

Enjoy making the quilt. I am addicted to snowpeople quilts as well. I do snowpeople embroidery quilts. They are just like eating hershey kisses. I can't stop at just one! Luann

So cute, you always could make it and send it to me! Ha, ha!

How could you resist, many of us love snowmen, what is it about them?

I am planning to make a long skinny one that I think is on Keepsake Quilting. I am not sure I will be able to finish him this year !!
