Cool Hexies

I enjoy working with hexies and making various projects large and small. These are candle mats I made yesterday.

Very nice. That would be a great idea for Xmas gift. I will have to keep this in mind.

You have inspired me to get out all my hexies that are sewn together. I have had this plan to sew each "flower" onto a square white block, then sew all the squares together and use them as a bedtopper.

Did you start by sewing down the middle one then sewing around the outside? Did you use fusible webbing to hold the hexies in place while you sewed?

Sorry for all the questions.
