    Default Portland Oregon Peeps!

We are headed on a road trip to visit family for the holidays and traveling through Portland. I was wondering if any of you might know of quilt/sewing shops that would carry Polyester Isacord Thread? I know I can get it online but I would really love to see the colors in person! Any suggestions?

I'm sure Fabric Depot has it ... they have EVERYTHING! I live three hours north of Portland, and whenever were anywhere NEAR the Oregon border I find an excuse of why I need to go to Fabric Depot!

I will echo what others are saying. Fabric Depot is a fantastic place to visit! It is a fabric store rather than a quilt shop but they have the largest collection of quilting patterns and fabrics I have ever seen. They carry a huge variety of notions and other types of fabric as well. I especially loved buying toweling by the yard to use for gift tea towels. You can look them up online, fabricdepot.com to get a preview of what they carry.

Absolutely Fabric Depot! Why not give them a phone call and ask because not everything they have is posted on line. They are super nice people! Enjoy your visit.

My best friend said that Fabric Depot is so huge. Think of the size of a Home Depot but full of fabric. You got to stop there and have some fun !!
