Default Super Mario is finished! 5022 squares!

Finally finished Super Mario for my grandson. The center panel is made from 2 1/2 squares. The rest are 1 1/2 squares. I had a hard time with this because I had cataract surgery after starting this quilt. Unfortunately for me, my close vision (which was nearly perfect before the surgery) is now not very good, so putting those black squares together what quite the chore! But things could be so much worse than they are. At least I can still see and I can still quilt!
I have to thank www.corasquilts.com for putting out such a great free BOM. I love how bright this quilt is and know that my grandson will love it.

What a wonderful quilt! Your grand son will love it. So sorry to hear about your vision...so sad when it messes up something trying to fix something else!

Default Sorry

I don't know why the picture is upside down. Nothing I do will make it come out the right way. Sorry!

Love your quilt! That is a lots of small squares! Sorry about your vision. I had cataract surgery last month. They said my distance vision would be perfect; but I would need glasses for close work. Guess what! My close vision is perfect. For the first time, I can thread a needle and sew without glasses; but I need glasses for distances.
