RJ, your quilt is beautiful! I hope to see it again when it's quilted.

I am 3/4th of the way with hand quilting mine but it is just a bit too warm here in FL for working on it. If we get a lovely rainy day I'll put on a movie & get back at it.

Outside summers is the best. I sit on the porch and quilt or piece and it is so great to look up and see the birds or the kids playing. I love it.

Finally finished! I wasn't happy with the backing I had assembled and it was too narrow also. So it sat for several months until I decided what to do with it. I finally took off the outside strips and added a plain color all around. I tied this quilt.

I gave it this morning to a former co-worker and her husband who are going through a rough time with an adult child. She said she never had a quilt like this one before because they were too expensive. She was thrilled with the colors and the added touches of horses on the back and cats on the front since she has both of those animals.

I'm on the left and she is on the right.

Fabulous -- I like how that hunter green pulls it all together.

Another mystery quilt completed. Thank-you Judy for a fun and lovely scrappy quilt. It goes on the bed this fall.
