I'm also looking forward to tomorrow, just finishing up on a customers quilt & will now have time to work on this mystery over the weekend. Think some nice homemade chicken gnocchi soup in club car tomorrow will be nice.

Girls, you are killing me. I'm on a diet to lose at least 30 pounds and I'm craving pasta with sauce and meatballs, roast beef, gravy and mashes potatoes. Did mention something sweet?? I'm in my sewing room trying to sew away my carvings. Looking forward to the next clue

So I've got a day to rest up before clue two hits the board
I am a serial lurker for the mystery quilts, love following the pictures of the progress and seeing how different ideas work, I am very excited to see this one. I'm loving the effect so far can't wait to see how it plays out in the finished design.

Whew....my 4 patches are done, just in the nick of time! . This was fun for me-I usually do "controlled scrappy"....this was so liberating just pulling out fabrics and putting them together without over-thinking it! And I found pics of fabric that I don't remember using, but if I have scraps, there was yardage at some point! Anxious for the next clue...whoops! The pic is upside down!

A scrappy story... my daughter saw an offer on Craigslist and I ended up with 8 huge plastic bags & 2 boxes of scraps.
A nice guy was cleaning out his late grandmother's stash. Diana lived to be 99 and was an award-winning quilter.
I have begun to sort, wash, iron & toss . Will share with my Bee and Lynnie. Leftovers go to Textile Recycling.
Oh yes, there was a Featherweight 324 in one of the boxes. No charge, by the way. I am calling myself a Textile Archaeologist. The "Hanky Holder" was a real find. Never saw one before. Wish you all were here!

Oh my goodness dotty. What fun that would be just to go throught it all. What a cute hankie holder. I never seen one before. Love the table runner under the machine. Florals are a favorite of mine. Sulabug ( member here) uses alot of florals. They always look great.

I ordered 12 plastic sweater boxes from Amazon & that is my limit of storage.
I can't wait for tomorrow's clues. Maybe I'll find something here.

Do you think you have enough scraps to sew the mystery, dotty? LOL
