Default my old machines.....

hi all, I am a newbie on the board but I have some old machines I can share. I think about downsizing.. but then I get them and play with them and it breaks my heart to think about it. LOL it is a sickness....
I have the following: singer handcrank-don't know model.maybe you guys can help me.. sn 9242346; singer handcrank-again don't know model-sn F8306522; franklin with egyptian scarabs- no sn or model; singer99k handcrank with german manual. has attachments and even then wood extention--sews and is fun... sn y9883504; singer 201 (I think) aj702895. I also have a white FW and a tan 301A with the long bed. oh. and I have a couple of card tables for the FW and 301... that does not include my newer machines.. just the old ones..

Those are some nice machines. I especially like the Model 66 with the Lotus decals.

The Franklin was made by Domestic Sewing Machine Co. for Sears. It's a copy of the Singer 27 made circa 1911 or so. It uses Singer shuttles, bobbins, regular 15x1 needles and mine sews very nicely.
I've yet to find an actual model number associated with that machine, still looking. Mine's in a parlor cabinet. It's a rescue from Good Will in Terre Haute, IN.

You won't find anyone here that will help you "downsize" your collection. We're all enablers and collectors ourselves.
Myself .... ummm ...... well ... ahh ..... I think I might have around 60 or right now. But they're not all in the same place so I cant really count them.
Sometimes I think they're breeding cos I keep finding ones I don't remember.

thank you for the model 66 identification.. the franklin is just a piece of art for me.. I love the decals on it.. and I got the 66 because of the decals. just loved them. and it is very clean. I have already downsized to this number.. LOL at one time I had 5 FW, and 3 301A's plus a whole lot more. I sold a 301A in a cabinet in NM last year. broke my heart as it was a beautiful machine and sewed like a dream. I was the 2nd owner.. had the orig sales info on it. sold in 1955 for $375. but I had to move and had to downsize.. such is life.. I love my 301 and 201 .. they both sew beautifully.

That is a very nice set of machines! You have great taste in decals; those are some of my favorite sets.
