I bought 3 yrs of tiger print cotton or animal print quilt and related fabrics to go with it. I will have to cut the the tiger fabric in 4x4 square to get the perfec. Can any one tell me how to do this and control the fabric?.

Thanks for your time, Deb

Please be more specific:

4" x 4" or 48" x 48"? How wide is your fabric? If it is only 40-42" it will be impossible to cut a 48" square.

Answers to these two questions will help us answer.

if you want to cut the prints in 4"X 4" squares to show the individual cats here's what I did.
cut a 6"X6" square of cardboard or something fairly stiff then measure in 1" all the way around and cut out that square. now you have a 4" frame put in on you fabric to where you see what you want, very carefully relpace the cutout and remove the frame, don't let it slip, now put your ruler on top of this template and cut it out. it should be a nice centered picture.
