The pattern was from Robert DeCarli in a book called Hill and Valley Log Cabins. The original quilt that he made of this pattern was slightly smaller; we extrapolated to make it larger to fit a queen sized bed. He has a lot of beautiful quilts of various sizes in that book and his instructions for making the quilts were very clear.

What an amazing quilt. Such tiny strips and so many of them. Well done you. I like your colour choice too, green and purple are great together.
