Default Leg Lift

How do I remove the leg lift device from my Janome 6000 sewing maching? I don't like it and now I want it off so I can travel more easily with my machine.
TIA

Just reverse the instructions in your manual for installing the knee lift. I believe that you just pull it out.

I would try their website or look for a Utube video for removing.

I would refer to your manual. The one on my Bernina pulls out straight. I rarely ever use it.

When I had a Janome, it just pulled straight out. I have one now on my Elna and I wouldn't be without it.

I LOVE my knee lift. But it just pulls out... I have taken it off to move the machine. It does seem like it doesn't want to come out when you first pull.. but it comes out easy enough

I have a Janome 8900, the knee lift pulls straight out, it is a tight fit.

I love, love, love my knee lift. It's so convenient, you should give it another try. You might find you will love it too. Mine just pulls straight out but I'm lost without it.
