    Default 216 Flying Geese

I made this quilt for a couple that are moving away after many years of serving in our church. I was inspired by a Miss Rosie pattern in her book "Spice of Life". I drafted the church to fit the center block. Her pattern has a house. I'm calling this quilt "On our way to church". Those flying geese in the sashing circling the church inspired the name. Its a simple pattern except for those pesky flying geese.

I wanted to do some custom quilting, but found out they were leaving sooner than I thought. Made it in 10 days. I literally was stitching down my tag 5 minutes before I had to present it.

Beautifully pieced and quilted. I love your colours too, well done. You might say that you have well and truly "cooked your goose"
