Question Easy Boxy Pouch

I really need help, I have found these boxy pouches on You Tube. The girl that does the video is Blonde and the big pouch is pink. I am really stupid that I don't know how to make them and it's really upsetting me. I was wondering if someone could possibly explain to me how to do it. I really would like to make a few of them. I would really appreciate any help from all of you.

Thank you,

Scuddles (Lori)

I am guessing the blonde in question is Melanie Ham....here's what maybe you are looking for....the written instructions for the box pouch.

I just made my FIRST boxy bag yesterday-it was a quilt guild challenge using random drawn paint chip colors. Here is a picture of it. We used the boxy bag directions that dakotamaid mentioned: http://kelbysews.blogspot.com. Here are my tips after making it: follow the directions step by step. I used two layers of mid-weight fusible interfacing, ironed onto the back side of the outer fabric only. Be careful to center the zipper, and have it right side up. The only struggle I had was getting the second side of the zipper sewn on right--the only way I can describe it is that the outer fabric and lining are not nestled together during this part, each of them are separated into 'loops' when sewing on the second zipper side, then it is turned wrong side out and they are back side to side again. Otherwise, Kelby's directions were clear and spot on.

Hi, this is the video. It's the big pink boxy pouch. Thank goodness for all my seam rippers.
Thank you for helping me.

I'm going to make life easier.....go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33GLdsKDl1I
Cute Marie shows you how to make the box pouch out of a Vera Bradley placement....you can use any placemat.
You can make one of these in less than 5 minutes. My daughter and I made ten of these for Christmas gifts in less than hour and a half....of course we had all the mats, zippers and thread ready to go. Have Fun!
