I vote..... flip a coin. I thing either works well. Absolutely not leanings on way or another. Don't you just love this kind of help?

I like the red. There is just something about red that pulls scrap quilts together and it gives a warm feeling. For a boy in a shelter situation the red is so warm and inviting-I'm sure he needs that-whoever he is. Thank you for reaching out to someone in need.

If you have enough of the yellow star fabric I think that would make an awesome sashing.

I love your blocks! I am no help because I like both blue and red sashing. It will be nice anyway you do it!

Blue so the stars are in the sky!

Love your blocks! I'm a big fan of red, but for some reason it seems to overpower the blocks. The blue, my absolute favorite color, sets the blocks off beautifully. Whatever you decide it is going to be a spectacular quilt.

Your piecing is amazing. Such accuracy is beautiful to behold! I don't think either the blur or red shows the blocks to their best advantage. Something darker or lighter that the fabrics used. The blocks are so lovely it probably won't make a bit of difference...you quilt will be wonderful. Please show us the completed quilt.
