Default New from Jamestown Louisiana

Hello everyone, my name is Darlene and I am very new to the world of quilting.... Came upon quilting at my church and have fell in love ... Reading is my passion but the last couple weeks it seems I cant put the quilt top down that I am hand quilting... Any and all advice would greatly be appreciated.. My children are 22, 18 and 16, and many of you know they "do their own thing". Lolol leaving lots of time on my hands. What better way to fill in those spots than quilting.😃

Hi, and welcome from LI New York.
Jump in and join a swap and meet some friends. it's not to late to join the mystery train quilt by Paintmejudy. she gives great clues to put your quilt together. Also the mug rug swap is great , it's bigger than a coaster and smaller than a placemat. about 6 x 8 or thereabouts. jump over and see what we're doing. it's a mini quilt. also the pin cushion and needle case is run once a month. join in and meet us and others. you make a pin cushion or a needle case and exchange it with a friend that's assigned to you. lots of fun over there and a lot of chatter too. so jump on in and show us what you're doing. have fun.

Welcome from Central California. This is a great place to see all kinds of quilting possibilities. Like Lynnie said, you can join one of the groups and make something different.
