Isn't it just the Best when those little ones pick up the baton and continue the journey! She is so cute and so proud of her accomplishment! Good for you too to take the time. Memories made for a lifetime!

Your granddaughter is AWESOME! I taught 7/8 year olds for 31 years and can tell you that she did an absolutely fantastic job (with your help of course). MOST kids that age would not stick with the job. Very impressive! You can be pleased and proud for both of you!! WOW!

I just came from a "ladies only" party. We all had to bring a gift for an exchange. My 14 yr old granddaughter made a rice bag with a pieced top. When it was finished, she liked it so much, she couldn't give it away. So she made another.
I think she is hooked on piecing.

What a great beginning quilt for a budding quilter. It's amazing what children can do when they are encouraged and enthusiastic about sewing/quilting.
