Default Easy Jelly Roll with Corrected link

I posted this quilt last year. I got the pattern from a link posted on the board. Originally it was on the "Blank"fabric site in their free pattern section. I've had several requests and decided to post again with the corrected link. It's now on a different web site. Here's the link: http://www.quilterbydesign.com/FreeQ...s/HotFlash.pdf
The name of the pattern is Hot Flash and my quilt looks nothing like theirs. It's a good reminder that Fabric choices can change the look of a pattern. I like to look at a quilt in grey scale and it helps me think in different color ways. I often discarded a quilt pattern because of the fabric choice that didnt appeal to me. By looking at it in grey scale helps me see the possibilities.

Unfortunately, the dear man I made this for passed away in February after losing his battle to leukemia. He told me many times how much he loved this quilt. His wife is using it now and told me it gives her comfort. Thanks for your remarks in the previous post.

Thanks so much, Wild8580! It was really great of you to do this followup. I was looking at this post yesterday and was disappointed that the link didn't work. Your version is just gorgeous!

How interesting to see your quilt, which I love. I have also saved a copy of that pattern intending to use browns and tans from my stash with maybe a little orange or aqua. Always something comes up ahead of it but some day!!

Your quilt colors are so calming! Love the quilting, too. Thanks for the post. I downloaded a few of her other free patterns especially two that were square and may be perfect for a large table topper.
