Default It's getting there!

I've been working on redoing my basement sewing room. It's actually farther along than these pictures show, but a bit too messy to take more right now! Anyway, we have an extension on back of our house, built onto our daylight basement beneath the main floor deck. When we bought the house, it had horrid industrial carpet in there, and some old mismatched cabinets installed in one end of the room. We had the flooring replaced with laminate, removed those cabinets and I've finally outfitted one end of the room into a craft studio. The other end of the room houses our treadmill and weights. We still need to do some painting, but I'll wait until cooler weather for that. Here are some photos:

Great looking room. I am afraid though depending on mother nature's lovely creatures I might get distracted but maybe also inspired.

I would have where I sit closer to the window for the natural light. Looks really neat.

I can't really, because I need to have my Koala cabinet positioned as it is in order to raise the outback leaf. There is also natural light that comes from the other direction, but not so obvious in these shots. Depending on the time of day tough, it gets an immense amount of natural light and other times, the room actually has very good ceiling lighting.

No kidding. I have a fabulous bird feeder in the back yard, primarily for the purposes of providing what we call "Cat TV" and it's very entertaining to watch.
