Default Reversible HoBo Purse

One of my nephews has a daughter from a previous relationship and her mother finally allowed her to come for an extended family visit. She's 12 and loves anything that has to do with zombies and skulls and ghoulish stuff. Go figure. I had some girlie goth fabric so I made her a purse and a couple of luggage handles. She loved them.

Those are so cute. I don't know why girls that age go through the skull and crossbones stage, with my DD she and her friends had it last about two years then it was anything purple.

You'll sure be her favorite relative on her dad's side of the family! You've no doubt made her feel very special and the reversible tote is really cute, as are the luggage handles. Maybe she'll outgrow her love of "scary stuff', maybe not. I never did LOL.

What pattern did you use for the purse?

What great gifts for her - and how wonderful you are to honor her interests and likes at this age!

Did you have a pattern for the bag or just wing it?
