My dear husband said he was watching the 'History Channel' this morning, and it was about '101 gadgets that changed the world'. They said that the invention of the sewing machine was number 24. Just thought I would pass that on to you girls.

Petthefabric, I am glad you got your things working. My laptop isn't doing so hot lately either. My screen starts scrambling when I first put it up like the old tube tv's. lol...
