Default The Ispy is finished!

I have finally finished the Ispy for my friend at work. I kept putting binding the darn thing off and off, but on Saturday I settled down with a glass (ok a bottle) of Prosecco and did it! and you know what, its not so scary afterall Though I have to ask, can anyone see anything wrong with the corners? I asked someone at work if they likes it and they basically told me my corners were rubbish! kinda took the wind out of my pride sails...

That turned out great. It looks so cuddly. Your corners look fine. With practice they can only get better. I still have problems occasionally with them.

Corners can be troublesome, so I round off the corners of all my baby quilts, kids' quilts. Even if a mitred corner is perfectly done... that's the part that drags on the floor, or trails behind and gets snagged or dirty. Plan your binding strips so they do not end at the corner. Count this quilt as a success, and plunge ahead boldly. And, thanks for sharing with all of us.

Thanks everyone! Yeah I think i will round the corners in future. So after this one I have started my placemats (for a friend) then I have two baby quilts (one girl, one unknown) a christmas placemat and table runner set and then a wedding quilt (I have chosen a bargello cos they look like fun!)... then maybe I can make something for me! maybe...

What a great I Spy quilt you have made. Corners are my worst problem it seems and yours don't look bad at all. I'll also take the hint of rounding off corners.
