Wheeler and Wilson treadle machine
Can anyone give me a little info on a Wheeler and Wilson treadle machine? From what I've been able to find, the serial number indicates it was made in 1862. The belt needs to be replaced but otherwise it's in working condition although really dirty. All parts are there including some accessories. The cabinet is in okay condition. She's asking $125 for machine head and cabinet. Also, it includes the box that sits on the cabinet to cover the machine. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I'd highly recomend joining the W&W Yahoo Group for any research:

Models 1-4 were made in 1862 which were curved needle machines. A picture would be needed for positive ID as it's possible for later W&W models to have a lower serial number than earlier models.
Good Luck
Jon
