Default New Quilt - White Lady by the Lake
[ATTACH=CONFIG]531211[/ATTACH]The local guild had a quilt show & sale this weekend. I thought the only quilts for sale were the ones to support Project Linus until I saw this.[ATTACH=CONFIG]531209[/ATTACH] I walked away 1st, got about 1/2 way across the room & turned around. Found a friend who is in the guild & asked where to pay.
It is 83 x 110, hand quilted (pieced ?) & as $150.00!!! I know I could make this but not for that price. The 2nd pic shows the quilting. As I took the price ticket off, someone behind me asked if that quilt was for sale. Nope, not any more.

score for you, but someone needs to take the quilter aside and explain the true value of her work. $1500 would have been underpriced...
