    Default Sprinkles Quilt Finished

Hello, just finished the binding on this quilt for one of the twins a friend of mine had. Still hand sewing the binding on the matching one. Ordered the quilt kit from Connecting Threads and was able to make 2 out of. Seems CT gives extra fabrics in their kits. These quilts came out 63 x 73 so a bit oversized for a baby but large enough for them to grow with.

Had to photograph it in my basement as its mighty windy outdoors today here in Iowa. We're seeing freezing temps tonight so I guess you can say Fall has arrived. Grandma (my friend) mentioned they were using a rainbow theme of pale colors so I used a raindrop pattern for the border, umbrellas in the corners and alphabet in the blocks plus in the middle row I added the date of their birth. Hope you like it.

Pretty and so perky. I really like this quilt and I like the freshness of the rainbow effect. Sure to be a treasure.
