Default Quilted with my Embroidery Machine

Used scrap batik fabrics and mixed some flower print cotton to sew up a quick simple pattern twin size for my Dgd's 14th b-day.

I'm overwhelmed taking care of my elderly DM. I do not have a clear mind to plan or make color choices. By the grace of God and the love I have for my first born d-gd I was able to sew up and finish her scrapy quilt in 2 weeks. I'm so proud of the quilting on my Viking T50 embroidery machine. Feel like I cheated cause it was sew easy to accomplish!

Sharing pic here.

Very pretty. Don't mention it and no one would be the wiser.
So, does this machine makes different quilting designs too?

Yes. I purchased this stitch for $1 and it fit the block so I stuck with that one. Did use a smaller on with a dragonfly in a pond on the bottom and top half blocks.

The goal is to FMQ my own but I'm not there yet. Still practicing though. May do a combination. The good thing is that one can custom machine quilt on the embroidery machine using various stitches depending on the quilt pattern.
Great to have the option.

Beautiful quilt and quilting! Thanks for the pictures, I had no idea you could do this with an embroidery machine. Plus I would have that it would have to be quilt as you go. Excellent!
