    I won a 1949 Singer Featherweight!!

    Default I won a 1949 Singer Featherweight!!
    A genuinely sweet couple who are amazingly generous to our quilt guild have given the guild one of their machines to raise money for the guild... We paid $1.00 for four tickets and anyone could invest in as many tickets as they wanted. Then a guest drew the winning ticket and it was mine! I'm now the proud owner of a 1949 Singer Featherweight! She is quite beautiful and I look forward to sewing with her... but it will have to wait until after the holidays. I'll be spending some time in this area to learn as much as possible. REALLY looking forward to this!!

    Congratulations from another jealous person! Four tickets for a dollar? Or did you buy 4 at 1.00 each? How much money did the raffle bring in? That's quite a nice prize!!
