There are Ebay sellers that sell small amounts.

We found some at Menards here in Ft Wayne. they had lots of different rolls of it. They also had the contact cement to stick it on with.

I'm pretty sure it was Menards.

Rockler - but we've picked it up in person as they did not have the 4' sheets available online.

It's been years ago, but I found packs of veneer sheets from antique furniture dealers. There should be online places for restoring antique furniture that sell such packages today.

Good to know as I will also be looking for veneer to fix two cabinets after the New Year. I had asked a furniture restorer for a quote to get one done but he was way too pricey for my budget so I put the task on my 'to do' list. I have done a bit of refinishing before but never tackled replacing veneer - should be a good learning experience

Find and price your veneer and tools first! I have a enclosed treadle I got for a much reduced price after telling them that the sheet needed to match the old they mostly tore off was more than their asking price. And doubtlessly other people scurrying away when they saw what was done to the top of the cabinet... Still need to recover the top, no one local carries large sheets anymore.

We couldn't find the larger sheets in our area either. We didn't know enough about it to know what to order. So, we found a 1/4" sheet of oak and use that, it wasn't cheap, but it looks great. The table we are working on is tiger oak.
