    Default Another minky question

I am using the "bubbly" kind for the first time as combination backing/batting.
What is the best method to be sure it won't stretch or wiggle around when quilting on my featherweight? It's a baby quilt so not very big.
I'm guessing Elmer's glue would be my best bet.

You are probably right about the glue method. I pinned a lap size and it did ok, no puckers.
I LOVE FABLE! I qualify as well!

Just be careful NOT to press the Minky or you dots will all go flat. I would use the spray adhesive.

Thanks for the heads up on not pressing the bubbles.

I have backed a few quilts with Minky and find that different brands of Minky behave different. I had bought some from Hancock Fabrics and it beaded to the front with each stitch and since the Minky was dark purple and the background was white I was disappointed. The Minky I got from Hobby Lobby did not do this and the Minky I got from my LQS was wonderful to work with. I basted with WebBond and pinned a lot and didn't get any puckers.
