Default A Country Picnic - Another UFO Done

Here's one more in the finished pile. I'm calling it Country Picnic mostly because of the mix of prints, but also to remind myself that summer will come again. This one was also made with strips of fabric from a tag sale at a fabric designer's home. I top stitched the binding with a yellow machine cross stitch - which was a chore and a half. The quilting was originally supposed to be diagonal crosshatches, evenly spaced with that swell spacer thingie you put on your foot. Well ... as per usual, things went awry. The bar loosened and I didn't notice until it was too late. Oh, well. Another quirky original.

Marilynr, the next three won't go so fast. They're all king sized. Paper Princess, I must have you (and a slew of others) cringing. You do such beautiful, precise work.

Nice job Krystyna. I love the little addition of yellow to your binding. Definitely worth the trouble.

Very cheerful quilt. I like the decorative stitching on the binding. Nice touch.
