How do you know the right side of batting
I was wondering how to tell what is the right side of bats. Which side should be towards the top of the quilt. I never knew there was a right side to batting.

Not all batting has a "right side". If it's needle punched, the side where the holes are sinking into the batting is up. For scrim batts, the scrim goes facing down. W&N is the easiest to tell because the side with the seeds in it goes up. Resin bonded batts like Hobbs don't have a right side.
