I drafted up this block and made a test piece that I like and am now planning out a quilt using it. I tried to see if this block has a traditional name, but a google search of "pinwheel log cabin" didn't bring up anything. Does anyone recognize the block and know if it has a source?

Don't recognize it. Looks like the corners of four blocks will make black pinwheels when they come together.
