Default fabric warehouses

Are there any other fabric warehouses like Marshalls dry goods in the USA?

I don't know what you mean by a warehouse being lower prices or hug fabric selection. There is Fabric Depot located in Oregon.

There is one in Belleville, NJ called Fabric Warehouse and one in Paterson, NJ called Fabric Mall on 245 Crooks Ave. 07053 (phone is 973 925-9000). I think Fabric Whse sells online. I am not sure about Fabric Mall but both have so much fabric!!! It is heavenly there.

I don't know if I would call MaryJo's in Gastonia, NC a warehouse--but she has a wonderful selection of quilt fabrics at prices lower than the LQS. It is a real fabric store like the old days--bridal, home deco, etc. She is right off I85, Cox Road, exit 20 or 21, depending on your direction. Highly recommended!

Slightly off topic/color.....but when I glanced at your handle, my mind read "Pain in the...um...you know". I had to click back on this thread to re-read it! LOL

Since her kids took over, the prices have gone up quite a bit. Only really worth a stop if you are already going to be close already. I've found most their fabrics to be at least $8-11 per yard which is much closer to LQS prices now then it was 5 years ago. MaryJo had the idea to keep the prices about 30% over wholesale to keep sewing/quilting inexpensive, but now that is no longer true. There is a textile fabric place that opens 2 times per year to the public in Kings Mountain NC has much better pricing, but you have to buy the whole piece/bolt and many are less than $5 per yard. So it's hard to see MaryJo's as such a great deal these days.
