Default Need low-slip, washable, quiltable fabric recommendation

Title kind of says it all. I'd like to make a washable, quilted dash cover for our motorhome (we currently have a carpet dash cover so I have a template).

Since the pups like to snooze on the dash, I want something machine-washable that won't be inclined to slip out from under them when they jump up or off the dash. I'll make the top out of quilting cotton, but need a backing fabric that meets those criteria. I don't want to add velcro or snaps to the dash.

Suggestions? Thanks!

Michelle

You can always attach one of those anti-slip mats to the back of the "quilt". I just buy the non-skid mats they sell in the kitchen aisle for my GPS & they work great. Super cheap, too. I think it would be do-able to tack it on by hand in a few places & then just quilt right through it with a #90 Jeans needle. Would make a nice safe snoozing pad for your puppies.
