Here are my two for today. First is for Moonrise. It's "Sawtooth Star'. Second is for MonaG. It's a "Moonlight Star". I had fabrics that matched your sample strip perfectly. They've just been waiting for your block. Hope y'all like them.

MonaG, I finished your block today. When your note said you like stars and log cabin, I thought of Judy's mystery train block. This one has a more controlled color and while not truly a log cabin it is a variation. Hope you like it.

Looks like somebody took GT picture page & threw it up in the air just to see where everything would land. Or is it an April Fool's prank?

QM, as long as you get the blocks to me by the deadline, you're golden. Some Boomers like to work continuously until they are done, some do one now and then and some need the pressure of a looming deadline. As you have over 30 blocks to do, I would be cautious about waiting too long. Life has a way of coming up and disrupting the sewing plans of mice and quilters. This I know for a fact. I do hope you enjoy playing with the fabrics when you do start! We'll look forward so seeing what you come up with.

I am still working on that silly wedding quilt for a customer that has already taken me three hours to sew and only have way done with the top. I think another five hours and the top will be sewn. Goodness, not making this pattern again, oh wait, I have old signature blocks from a swap, better not say that. LOL

Nice block! I could really see this in Civil War prints too.
