Hello from Virginia!

So excited to discover this forum! I've been quilting off and on for nearly 20 years but only since my DH and I moved into this big old farmhouse 4 years ago have I had a sewing room that I really love spending time in (my last one was large but kind of gloomy and with an unfortunate water leak issue, being basically in the basement). I sew almost every day now and all I think about is quilts, quilts, quilts! I love old-school quilts with reproduction fabrics, and modern quilts with bright colors and bold designs--I love it all! I'm pretty much self-taught and am always learning new things--hoping to expand my horizons even more now that I've found this place!

Welcome from Illinois! I too love reproduction fabrics and one day hope to branch into a modern quilt or two. I am glad you have a sewing room now and I know what you mean about thinking about quilts, quilts, quilts. I find this forum helps me get my fix and I pick up great tips and inspiration too!

Welcome to Va! I'm in rural Sperryville which is about a 2 hr. drive west of DC. Love it here bordering Shenandoah National Park. I get so much inspiration from the QB. Just love it!
