Default I Found a penny and got lucky today see correction at post 52

I found a penny today. And I got lucky. My nephew was out junking here in Muscatine. He stopped buy to return my post hole digger. Anyhow he ask me to look at this sewing machine he found. I opened it up, and took it out of the case. It was a light weight singer machine. I took it down to Neals sewing & vacuum business. Jeff thought it could be a 1920-1930 singer sewing machine. Someone didn't know what they were doing by throwing it out. Or didn't need it. Don't know why. I tinkered with it. But didn't have any luck getting it to sew. So Jeff will work on it, and tells me, he doesn't see much of a cost to repair it.This the machine. And these are all of the part, that were with the machine. The machine, come in a box with a handle. The box looks like almost new

Wow - a featherweight! One of the "tricks" to getting it to sew is to thread it correctly, from right to left. And the bobbin should be going counter-clockwise.
