I love the small Clover Wonder Clips. I use them instead of a pin when I can. My DD bought me a tub of another brand and they work fine but I can tell a difference from the Clover brand in the way the clips hold the fabric and spring strength. If you haven't used the Clover brand you won't know the difference though. Did you know there are fake Clover products? Be careful to get what you pay for. Here is the difference in the real and the fake: http://clovercatalog.com/wc/wc.pdf

I use the Clover clips to hand-stitch my binding.

This is where I use the Clover clips too. They are perfect for this.

I agree with IndyCat and I use the hair clips with no problem. They are cheaper also. But what works best for each

I use the binding clips for everything. One of my MAIN uses for
these clips is to hold my iPod earbuds to my shirt.

I use the small ones (red) on binding. The jumbo ones (green) are great for making bags and such but are overkill for binding imho. I also don't need as many as I thought I would. For the most part, I clip a range of the quilt and sew it down, then keep clipping and sewing. I have never clipped a whole quilt.

I have 5 small clips. I use them and as i go I clip more fabric. to pricey to clip down a whole quilt when you only can stitch down a little at a time. the clips i have hold down about 10" at a time.

Walmart sells Clover Wonder Clips. Easy to pick up a package every shopping trip and soon have a good pile of them.

I have a bag of the small Wonder Clips but have found that I like the hair clips better. I use the hair clips all the time & the Wonder clips just now & then. I can use the hair clips for my hair also....not so with the Wonder Clips...
