When I first looked at it I was not sure what to think but it was the red that got me, not that it had been refurbished. I liked it to look at but wouldn't be able to sew with it. (I have a problem with color clashing.) It's cute.

For me, that wouldn't have been a repaint candidate although the repaint looks nice. Just too nice looking to repaint. Some time, elbow grease and sewing machine oil would have cleaned her up nicely.
